Now that you have written and revised your essay it is time to reflect on what you have learned in the writing process.  Spend a few minutes writing and reflecting on these questions. Here are my responses to these questions as an example.

  1. Do you agree that one opinion cannot be better than another one?
I believe that one opinion cannot be better than the other because opinions are different from each person you encounter.  Not every one can have the exact some opinion because every person is different and unique.  Personally I think this is something amazing because then there are so many different insights that come to a conversation to make it interesting.
  2. What did you discover in your process of researching?
What I found was a lot of information on adolescents and how they conform.  They conform because of the internal struggle of acceptance.  This is a major issue for adolescents because the middle school high school age is where a teen finds themselves.
  3. What was the most challenging problem you faced and how did you fix it?
My most challenging struggle that I faced was finding my sources.  It was very hard to find informational sources for my essay because of the content I was looking for to support my thesis.  I solved this by focusing my target audience on adolescents, so I was able to find more books and websites to help me.
  4. After all of this what have you taken away from the experience and what have you learned that you can actually use?
What I have taken away from this experience is how other people view one another regarding first impressions.  What clothes a person sees at first glance causes a lot of assumptions.  What I have learned that I can use in every day life is how I view or see other people.  I can see what I think of people with the first impressions that I make and why I think these things.
